The Communauté d’agglomération du Pays de Grasse has launched a call for applications for the "Cirque en territoire 2027" artist residency program, aimed at supporting French-speaking circus companies.

The call is open to French-speaking circus companies based in France, with at least one emerging artist. Independent travel (license/vehicle) is mandatory. The residency, lasting 6 to 10 weeks in 2027, will be split 50% between artistic creation and community engagement activities, particularly in rural areas and priority neighborhoods.
Financial conditions include a creation grant of €17,500 including tax, coverage of accommodation costs (up to €3,500) and travel, along with technical support. Selected companies will participate in the Grasse region's circus festival project, presenting two residency showcases and conducting awareness workshops.
The application dossier must include a cover letter, a statement of intent, an artistic and financial dossier, CVs, driving license, insurance, criminal record extract (n°3), bank details (RIB), and diplomas. The deadline for submissions is December 28, 2026, via email to hmauro@paysdegrasse.fr. Selection interviews will be held via video conference in January 2027.
