For Carnival, the Communauté d’agglomération du Pays de Grasse invites the public on a creative journey, blending local heritage with international festive traditions. These days aim to explore how colors and symbols tell personal, family, or place-based stories.
On Wednesday, March 10th, two sessions are scheduled. From 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, a discovery of local coats of arms will be followed by a plastic arts workshop to create one's own emblem, under the theme "Heritage and culture".
In the afternoon, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, the theme "Carnival" will be explored. Participants will discover costumes through the Micro-Folie (educational kits) before engaging in a multisensory plastic arts workshop.
Since 2021, the Communauté d’agglomération du Pays de Grasse has operated a mobile Micro-Folie, supplemented by educational kits. This digital museum is supported by the Ministry of Culture and coordinated by La Villette, in collaboration with 12 French cultural institutions.
