Following the mobilization around the national day on June 22 and the numerous actions undertaken, the city continues its commitment for the World Organ Donation Day this Saturday, October 17.
On Tuesday, October 13, an awareness session on organ donation was organized for first-year high school students at Lycée Monte Cristo, in partnership with the AP-HM. Doctor Marco Caruselli was able to engage with the young people and answer their questions.
Organ donation begins with a discussion. Often, what hinders donation is not refusal, but ignorance. Many families find themselves facing an impossible decision because they did not know or had not discussed it.
On this World Organ Donation Day, Allauch reaffirms its commitment: to inform, raise awareness, and foster a culture of donation.
