Three young rugby players, Léane Zallu, Coralie Mouries, and Clémence Garrigues Goulpie, from Berre-l'Étang, recently competed in a national 7s rugby competition in Normandy.

After being selected from numerous players, Léane Zallu, Coralie Mouries, and Clémence Garrigues Goulpie traveled to Normandy in April for this national 7s rugby competition. "It was a great experience, it's different from 15s rugby. There's more unity, it's more jovial," says Léane.
These three players, who started rugby at 8 or 9 years old with the boys, have a deep passion for the sport. "I like team play, being with other girls, but also the contact," specifies Coralie.
Now 17 years old, Léana and Coralie play for Montpellier Hérault Rugby, a professional club. Coralie proudly wears jersey number 10 as fly-half, the team's strategist, while Léana, a wing flanker, is positioned on the side of the scrum with number 7.
Clémence, meanwhile, continues her sports career in Berre, where a promising season is anticipated.
“

"The journey of these players is a source of pride for us; it reflects a club that trains, develops, and nurtures its members with ambition."
