The historic center of Bouc-Bel-Air will soon be closed to car traffic, following a favorable consultation with residents.

The pedestrianization of the old town of Bouc-Bel-Air is generating positive momentum among residents. According to the results of a consultation conducted this summer, 70% of residents surveyed expressed support for banning car traffic on Rue Droite and Rue des Écoles.
The main objective of this measure is to improve safety for pedestrians in these narrow streets and to preserve the heritage character of the village center. The installation of retractable bollards is planned for sometime in 2027.
