October Rose: A Weekend of Mobilization in Châteaurenard

Information, discussions, sports activities, and exhibitions are scheduled for October 17th and 18th to support the fight against breast cancer.

The city of Châteaurenard is mobilizing for October Rose this weekend, Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th, with a program of events aimed at informing, discussing, and supporting the fight against breast cancer.

From October 15th to 31st, an exhibition of busts is offered at Halles & Design L’atelier. Organizers anticipate strong participation for this solidarity event.
On Saturday, October 17th, the Médiathèque will host several talks at 5:30 PM. The CRCDC Sud Paca will provide information on screening. The association « Mon Parcours de vie » will present 6 books on breast cancer. The web mini-series » Le Printemps des Hérissons » will be screened. Doctor Lionel Uwer, oncologist at the Institut Sainte-Catherine, and Doctor Daniel Serin, oncologist and president of the Institut Sainte Catherine, will also speak.
Sunday, October 18th will be dedicated to Solidarity Runs & Walks on the Allées Marcel Jullian. A musical warm-up is scheduled for 9 AM, followed by the start of the run and walk at 9:30 AM, including a passage through the Château. Participation is €5, donated to the Institut Sainte-Catherine. A brunch under the alleys is planned for 11 AM.
Prevention stands will be present from 9 AM to 12 PM to inform and raise awareness throughout the morning. Ticketing is available online.
Châteaurenard associations, alongside the City, are mobilizing for October Rose, offering various actions to raise awareness about breast cancer screening and support this cause.
