This program, closely linked to the LEST (Laboratory of Economics and Sociology of Labor), has accompanied five decades of transformations in the world of work, maintaining a constant dialogue between research, training, and professional practices. Throughout the changes in higher education and the professional landscape, it has retained a central role in the research and training activities associated with LEST.
The anniversary event brought together multiple generations of students and graduates, highlighting the essential connections between the laboratory, teaching staff, and alumni. The discussions provided an opportunity to reflect on the evolution of studied themes and professional trajectories.
Two round tables focused on contemporary work challenges. The first, titled 'From Home Work to Remote Work: What Issues, What Practices?', explored organizational and professional evolutions, drawing on the film Vivre et travailler chez soi by Monique Haicault and the ANR Vico project.
The second round table, 'Ecological Transition and Productive Transformations: What Futures for Work, Jobs, and Skills?', gathered participants from economic, trade union, and institutional sectors to examine the consequences of ongoing transitions on activities, professions, and competencies.
This gathering also facilitated the sharing of experiences among former graduates, opening perspectives for the future of the program. The OTRH program thus continues to integrate training, research, and critical analysis of transformations in work and organizations.
