The SDIS 13 and the French Blood Establishment (EFS) renewed their partnership for a blood drive held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the headquarters, mobilizing around thirty personnel.

The initiative was part of the Resilience Week and Pink October. According to the EFS, over a third of blood transfusions in France are for patients with cancer or blood diseases.
Marie-Hélène Boulay, an administrative agent at Pompiers13, expressed her satisfaction with the mobilization. "At SDIS 13, we worked with the Heritage group for the signage and furniture," she stated. She also highlighted the contribution of the headquarters' association, which lent its premises for individual interviews, allowing the donation to proceed peacefully.
The organization plans to repeat the initiative next year, with the EFS pleased with the partnership with Pompiers13, indicating the action's success.
