Starting November 2nd, the Pennes-Mirabeau waste disposal center is opening a new reuse space, allowing residents to drop off items in good condition or repairable, thereby promoting the circular economy and professional integration.

Instead of throwing them away, it is now possible to give objects a second life at the Pennes-Mirabeau waste disposal center, which is launching a new reuse space starting November 2nd.
The principle is simple: deposit items you no longer need, provided they are in good condition or repairable. Small furniture, tableware, decorations, toys, books, sports, gardening, or DIY items, small appliances… Many objects can be recovered. However, damaged items, hazardous products, and those with hygiene or safety constraints are not accepted.
The collected items will be handled by the integration association Déclic 13. They will be responsible for cleaning them, repairing them if necessary, and restoring them. They will then be offered for sale at a low price at the Recyclerie de Miramas.
Beyond waste reduction, this initiative offers a dual benefit: limiting waste and conserving natural resources, while supporting the local economy and the professional integration of people far from employment.
