Starting Thursday, October 1st, La Bouilladisse will host a new free local mental health service, provided by the CCAS and Valvert Hospital Center.

Recognizing the challenges in finding appropriate support for mental health concerns, the municipality of La Bouilladisse, through its CCAS, is launching a new initiative. In partnership with the Valvert Hospital Center, a Mental Health Café and Advice Service will be available without appointments and without the need to visit the hospital.
A mobile psychiatric team specializing in elderly care will come directly to La Bouilladisse. Utilizing a dedicated vehicle, residents can engage in confidential discussions. This service is particularly aimed at individuals over 65 experiencing psychological difficulties, as well as their families and caregivers seeking listening, advice, or guidance. Professionals in the health and social sectors who identify mental health-related situations are also encouraged to utilize the service.
The primary goal is to provide accessible support close to residents, especially for those who may be distant from traditional care structures. The service will operate from a dedicated bus, ensuring privacy, located at the Place de la Mairie.
This new service will take place on the first Thursday of each month, commencing on October 1st. Sessions will run from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to come and discuss any questions they may have.
