The technical services staff of La Fare-les-Oliviers have taken charge of their new electric street sweeper, equipment that will soon be seen in the town's streets. This new tool offers several significant advantages for the maintenance of public spaces.
More compact, quieter, and more maneuverable, this electric sweeper offers up to 10 hours of autonomy with a power of 64 kW. Its compact size is suitable for narrow streets, and its electric motor reduces polluting emissions during use and leads to operational savings. It also features a water recycling system capable of reusing approximately 200 liters, thus optimizing water resource management. Staff will benefit from increased comfort due to modern equipment and a smoother driving experience.
This investment represents a total cost of €210,443 for the municipality. The project benefits from a 40% subsidy from the Departmental Council. The municipality is also awaiting additional funding from the Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME).
This new street sweeper strengthens the resources of the technical services, thereby contributing to the maintenance and cleanliness of the streets of La Fare-les-Oliviers.
