Since March 2025, the Municipality of Lambesc, in partnership with the LPO PACA, has been undertaking initiatives to promote the discovery of local biodiversity, particularly for schoolchildren and families.

Since the launch of the Communal Biodiversity Atlas (ABC) in March 2025, several actions have been carried out with the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (LPO PACA), notably involving schoolchildren.
Following initial classroom awareness sessions, students from several Lambesc schools have had, or will have in November, the opportunity to go into the field to observe nature and apply their knowledge. Birds and insects will soon hold no secrets for them!

Why not join in yourself, as a family, with our survey on nocturnal raptors? Go and listen for the owls and eagle-owls that inhabit Lambesc and share your observations!

How to recognize these raptors? How to participate? Find all the information on the town hall's website. Every observation counts! Your contributions will help to better understand and map the presence of these species, which are essential to the balance of ecosystems, and to guide future actions for the protection of their habitats.
