The program begins on Friday, October 9th at 5:30 PM at the Auditorium with 'My Thesis in 180 Seconds,' where doctoral students will present their research. Two conferences will follow: 'Can Viruses Save Lives?' by Océane Paris, exploring the role of viruses in medicine, and 'The Story of a Canal: Adam de Craponne, a Master of Water in the Renaissance' by Marylène Bonfillon.
On Saturday, October 10th, from 10 AM to 6 PM, the Espace Charles Trenet will host the Science Village. Approximately twenty stands, run by associations, companies, and higher education institutions, will offer a fun and interactive way to discover science. Visitors can explore bee intelligence, ecological transition, water, climate, flavor chemistry, technological innovations, and scientific research. An escape game and virtual reality are also included.
On Sunday, October 11th, starting at 8 PM, Place Saint-Michel will be the venue for 'Le Jour de la Nuit' (The Night of the Night). The association Astro Geek 13 will provide stargazing opportunities, with introductions, awareness activities, and hands-on demonstrations. Telescopes will be available on-site for this free event.
Additionally, the media library is organizing a free workshop on DNA on Saturday, October 17th at 3 PM, accessible to ages 9 and up. Registrations can be made at the media library by calling 04 90 56 74 16.
