More than 1,000 participants started on the sand of La Favière for a memorable edition of the T24 Xtrem Triathlon in Bormes-les-Mimosas.

Due to adverse weather and unfavorable water analysis, organizers had to adapt the challenge. The swimming portion was replaced by a running event, followed by cycling, and then a final running course, creating a duathlon format. This change in program did not dampen the enthusiasm of the athletes, who were spurred on by a highly energized crowd.
During the awards ceremony, the mayor François Arizzi, accompanied by elected officials, congratulated the organizers, the persevering youth, the passionate athletes, and the wonderful family of volunteers. "They all embody the vitality and energy of our commune, the favorite village of the French in 2026!" he specified.
Special mention was given to Anthony Castor, Philippe Barthes, Maxime Mantel, and Jean-Baptiste Robelin, for magnificently representing the commune in this extraordinary challenge.
