SeaTech school, part of the University of Toulon, is holding its Business Forum again on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. This event, now a staple, aims to directly connect students with professionals, building on the success of previous editions.
For this 2026 edition, 32 companies are expected. Alongside historical partners, there is an increased presence of engineering consulting firms. These firms play a significant role in recruiting young engineers, accounting for 24.3% of new engineers' first jobs according to the 2026 CGE graduate survey, due to their flexibility in meeting the skill needs of large corporations.
The forum provides a prime opportunity for students to engage with professionals, discover various careers, career paths, and sectors, and better understand recruiter expectations. Companies will present their recruitment policies and career opportunities, including internships and entry-level jobs. Despite a sometimes tense international context, the job market for young engineers remains favorable.
This day offers a unique chance for all students, regardless of their study level or professional project, to gather information, ask questions, expand their network, and potentially secure their first professional opportunity.
The day will commence with two mandatory conferences. At 10:00 AM, an APEC conference titled 'The Job Market and APEC for Young Graduates' will be held for first-year students. At 11:00 AM, second and third-year students will attend an EDF conference on 'Recruitment Challenges and Focus on the Nuclear Sector'.
From 12:00 PM, companies will be welcomed by the School-Business Relations department before a welcome address from the director. The forum will officially open its doors at 1:00 PM and run until 5:00 PM. Students are encouraged to prepare in advance to make the most of these encounters.
