These works aim to modernize the stormwater infrastructure and enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of the village entrance. Existing cobblestones will be replaced with an ochre asphalt surface, chosen for its suitability for traffic and maintenance constraints, while preserving the site's appearance.
A public meeting was held on Thursday, October 8, to present the upcoming works to the residents of La Cadière-d’Azur and address their questions regarding this project.
Traffic disruptions are anticipated. From October 19 to November 6, 2026, access to Avenue André Favory will be closed. A detour will be established via Chemin de Saint-Marc and Chemin du Pey Neuf, with traffic restored on weekends. Furthermore, the village entrance from Avenue Vincent Negrel, near Avenue Marc Dormoy, will be temporarily closed on November 12 and 13, 2026, to allow for the application of the ochre asphalt coating.
The estimated cost for this project is €60,000 including tax.
