On the occasion of Pink October, the Town of Le Beausset invites the public on Saturday, October 10th, for a day dedicated to prevention, well-being, and sharing. The aim is to raise awareness about breast cancer screening and to support women affected by the disease through various activities.
The day will begin at 10 AM with a flash mob. This will be followed by a prevention session led by the association La Petite Parenthèse, offering self-examination demonstrations on an anatomical bust, discussions about mammography, and the presentation of the initiative « À deux, c'est mieux » by the association Zazarose.
Throughout the day, the Club Dynamic Beaussetan will host well-being workshops including yoga, qi gong, tai chi, and line dancing. Students from the École de Danse will also present a ballet on the theme of breast cancer, choreographed by Stellina Revelles.
The afternoon will feature another flash mob and the traditional most beautiful Pink October hat contest. Participants will parade through the town center, where the public will vote for the most beautiful shop window decorated in Pink October colors, recognizing the commitment of local merchants.
This event aims to emphasize the importance of early screening and to show solidarity with women affected by breast cancer. The gathering is scheduled for Saturday, October 10th, from 10 AM to 5 PM, in the town center.
