Last Saturday, a solidarity walk took place in Pierrefeu-du-Var, in partnership with the association Leï Roudaïre. This event was part of the Pink October campaign, dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer screening.
This mobilization brought together 201 participants around this essential cause. Thanks to their generosity, €1,520 was collected for this initiative. Part of this sum also came from the sale of cards created by the young people from the Espace Jeunes and sold on-site that day.
The Town would like to warmly thank the association Leï Roudaïre, all the participants, and everyone who contributed to the success of this morning dedicated to solidarity.
The Pink October campaign continues in Pierrefeu with further events planned to keep supporting this cause: a cabaret evening titled 'Les Guerrières en guêpières' on Friday, October 23rd, followed by a creators' market on Saturday, October 24th. These events offer new opportunities to gather and share moments of solidarity.
