The Municipality of Saint-Zacharie and its CCAS are organizing several events for the fight against breast cancer, focused on solidarity, prevention, and hope.
On Friday, October 2, 2026, at 6:00 PM, on the Place des Tuileries, the « pink bench » will be inaugurated, a symbol of awareness and support. An aperitif will be offered by the Municipality.
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Maison du Peuple will host a solidarity day. The program includes two walks (one for experienced walkers at 9:00 AM, lasting 2 hours, and one for beginners and families at 10:00 AM, lasting 1 hour). At 11:00 AM, a dance demonstration will be presented by Perle d’orient Vi’Danse and the dancers of La Joie de Vivre. An aperitif will be offered by the municipality at 11:30 AM, with musical ambiance by the group Bonasera.
Throughout the day, the team from the Ligue Contre le Cancer Var 83 will be present selling pink t-shirts and ribbons, and holding a raffle to benefit the cause.
At 8:00 PM, the Troupe de Théâtre de Carnoux will present the comedy « ALLEZ ! ON DANSE ! » by Vivien Lheraux. Ticket prices are €10 for adults and €6 for children. Reservations can be made online and on-site. Proceeds will be donated to the Institut Paoli-Calmettes.
The municipality invites residents, families, friends, and associations to come in large numbers, dressed in pink, to support this cause.
