Nearly 400 people participated in the Health Village held this Friday, September 25, 2026, in Carpentras. The event aimed to inform visitors about the health and prevention resources available in the area.
Jointly organized by the Ventoux Comtat Venaissin Agglomeration Community (CoVe), the Carpentras Youth Information Point (Point Info Jeunesse), and the CPTS Synapse – Comtat Venaissin, the event mobilized around forty partners. Health professionals, associations, and stakeholders were present to interact with the public, whether they had specific questions or simply wanted to learn more.
The common goal was to make prevention and access to care more accessible by enabling everyone to better understand the existing services. Elected officials from the CoVe and the City of Carpentras praised this initiative.
Prior to the event, a press conference was held to present the objectives of the Health Village and highlight the collaboration between the various local actors. This exchange underscored the importance of prevention and access to healthcare in the region.
With nearly 400 participants, including 150 young students from the city's schools, this first edition is considered a success. The mobilization of partners and the public encourages the continuation of such actions to improve access to health, prevention, and information.
