Drought: Vaucluse moves to alert status for several basins

By prefectural decree dated September 23, 2026, the prefect of Vaucluse modified the water restriction level in several basins. As the hydrological and meteorological situation has improved, the Durance, Calavon-amont, and Nesque basins are moving from a reinforced alert to an alert level.

Other basins in the department retain their current restriction level. The classification of communes within the CCPAL, which determines the measures applicable to businesses, farmers, local authorities, and individuals, is now as follows:
