Starting this Tuesday, November 3rd, the municipality of Piolenc is launching a census of elderly, isolated, or vulnerable residents. Teams, accompanied by a municipal police officer, will visit residents throughout the week.

Throughout the week, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, members of the municipal reserve, accompanied by a municipal police officer, will visit Piolenc residents to register elderly, isolated, or vulnerable individuals.
This census is part of the Communal Safeguard Plan (PCS). Its aim is to enable the municipality to know who to contact and assist as a priority in the event of an exceptional incident, such as a heatwave, severe cold, flood, or prolonged power outage.
To ensure the safety of those being registered, the teams are always accompanied by a uniformed municipal police officer. Residents are encouraged to ask for a card or identification.
It is emphasized that no money or bank details will be requested. If in doubt, do not let anyone in and contact the town hall.
Participation is voluntary and free. Concerned individuals, or those who know a relative or neighbor who might be, can register directly with the town hall or by emailing contact@mairie-piolenc.fr.
