The event will begin at 6:15 PM with a presentation of the orientations of Provence Alpes Agglo's new 2026-2032 Climate Plan. This initiative aims to define the intercommunal area's strategies for combating climate change over the next six years.
At 6:45 PM, the short film Carnet de route du climat au Moyen-Orient (Climate Road Trip in the Middle East) will be screened. The film follows Dan Hodd on his journey by bicycle and train through the Middle East, a region facing drought and pollution. He meets local activists committed to ecological transition, demonstrating that it is possible to travel without flying.
The evening continues at 7:15 PM with the screening of the documentary La Nouvelle Aventure Mobile (The New Mobile Adventure). This film addresses the issue of cars in rural areas, often seen as the only means of transport but with a growing environmental and financial cost. Bicycle reporter Jérôme Zindy travels across France in an innovative light vehicle, meeting pioneers who are developing alternatives that respect planetary limits and create jobs in France and Europe.
Following the screening, a time for discussion and debate will be offered to the public to discuss sustainable mobility solutions.
A musical closing reception is planned to end the evening. This event is organized by Provence Alpes Agglomération, in partnership with the association Digne à Vélo. The admission fee is €6 per evening, with no prior registration required.
