The Durance Luberon Verdon Agglomération (DLVA) has extended the recruitment campaign for its Youth Community Council (CCJ) until November 14, 2026, an organization where young people aged 16 to 25 can make their voices heard and take action in the territory.

Friday, November 6, will mark the end of the 2025-2026 cohort and the official welcoming of the new cohort. After a year of commitment, the group will hand over to a team of 8 to 12 young people who will, in turn, carry the voice of youth within the agglomeration.
The 2025-2026 cohort included nine young people who signed their letter of mission for a one-year commitment, renewable. The signing of this commitment took place on Friday, December 12, 2025, in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall of Manosque, in the presence of Béatrice Garcia, community councilor delegate for citizenship.
Since then, the CCJ has met five times to discuss various topics: getting to know each other and discovering the agglomeration's functioning in January, understanding how a polling station works in February (some assisted during elections), initiating work with the mobility department on a cultural shuttle in March, participating in the Summer Jobs forum in April to present their role to young people, and collaborating with Sophie Rieu, DLVAgglo's Energy Transition project manager, on an action sheet for the Territorial Climate Air Energy Plan (PCAET).
For any questions, young people can contact the CCJ at ccj@dlva.fr. For more information, the Citizenship, Integration, Education service can be reached at jeunesse@dlva.fr.
