The renaturation project for the Brague plain, led by the Sophia-Antipolis Urban Community in the municipality of Antibes, requires the prior obtaining of a prefectural derogation order due to its potential impacts on protected species. This procedure is governed by Article L411-2 of the Environmental Code.
In accordance with the Environmental Charter, the public is invited to review the derogation request file and submit their observations. The consultation period runs from September 26, 2026, to October 26, 2026.
