The Town of Villeneuve Loubet is preparing to host the 12th edition of the History Book Fair, which will take place from Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18, 2026. This annual event, now in its twelfth year, aims to create a privileged meeting space for writers, researchers, specialists, and history enthusiasts.
For this new edition, the event will honor Jean-François Colosimo. Recognized for his work as a writer, publisher at the helm of Cerf (a publishing house specializing in theology and philosophy), and teacher, he is also the author of numerous essays on history, religions, and international relations. The participation of writer Boualem Sansal will also enrich the exchanges planned during these three days.
The fair will be held at the Auguste Escoffier Cultural Center, from 10 AM to 6 PM daily. Admission is free. An opening evening is scheduled for Friday, October 16, from 6 PM to 6:30 PM. The objective of this 12th edition is to make history a vector for knowledge, reflection, and dialogue through various meetings, exchanges, and debates.
