Under the initiative of Ms. Anne-Marie RIGAUD, Deputy Mayor for Culture, and Ms. Françoise ANTOINE, delegated municipal councilor, the "Parcours d’Arts" transformed several heritage sites in Trans-en-Provence into open-air art galleries. Approximately twenty artists presented their works, including paintings, sculptures, and various artistic creations.
The venues included the Town Hall (Hôtel de Ville), the Salle des Baumes Bas, the Place du 16 août 1944, the aerial well (puits aérien), the old train station, as well as Place de l’Aïro, the footbridge esplanade, and the Tiers Lieu Oustou per Touti library. These spaces provided a unique setting for artistic discovery.
The event also featured numerous interactive workshops for visitors, encouraging creativity through activities such as chalk drawing on the ground, land art, artistic expression with the "Puits des souhaits aériens" (Wishing Well), the creation of a giant mural, and an acrylic painting workshop.
Local heritage was also highlighted. Mr. Gilles Perrimond, president of the Transian heritage preservation association, offered a historical presentation of the Town Hall. Additionally, artist Jaké created an "Art Car" live in front of the public in the Town Hall square.
The event's success was marked by the presence of 10 classes from the Jean Moulin elementary school, as well as numerous visitors and elected officials, including Mayor Alain CAYMARIS. Their participation contributed to the lively atmosphere throughout the weekend.
Among the participating artists and contributors were: Jaké, Gérard Amat, Tony Casasoprana, Sophie Chambe, Claude Forest, Mercedes Lafuente, Clotilde Largillier, Jean-Marie Largillier, André Rosenberg, Philippe Rossi, Bernard Vidal, Sophie Bonfils, Marie-Françoise Gilles, Eric Di Fruscia, Laurent Castellain, Giuliani, Véronique Pilarek, Dom Pilarek, Chrystel Schierkamp, Fabienne Ferrer, Céline Routens, Marivonne, Vincent Mathieu, and Gilles Perrimond.
