On the occasion of the National Week for Retirees and the Elderly, the municipality of Villeneuve Loubet is offering a week of events from Monday, October 5th to Friday, October 9th, 2026. This initiative aims to foster meetings, discoveries, and exchanges through various sports, cultural, and intergenerational activities.
The program includes activities such as Qi Gong, yoga, chair balance, and walking. Participants can also engage in porcelain painting, knitting, and crochet. Board games and intergenerational games are scheduled, along with a film screening followed by discussions.
A computer workshop, sophrology sessions, and stroke prevention (AVC) workshops are also part of the agenda. The week will feature a regional meal with musical entertainment and dedicated intergenerational meetings involving children and young people.
Festive moments are also planned, including a free tea dance organized by the ABAV and a karaoke session with local college students. These events will take place at various locations throughout the commune of Villeneuve Loubet.
Some activities require prior registration, and places are limited. For more information, registrations for relevant activities can be made at the Médiathèque (04 92 02 36 70).
