On Monday, October 5th, over 70 partners, elected officials, and local stakeholders gathered at Parc Phoenix for a day dedicated to the Mercantour Climate Change Adaptation Plan, marking the transition from assessment to collective decision-making.

Following a diagnostic and consultation phase, this day facilitated the sharing of vulnerabilities within the Mercantour and discussions on guiding principles for the Park's actions. Proposed objectives for the future PACC were reviewed by local stakeholders.
The day featured expert contributions, a forward-looking narrative, plenary discussions, and small group workshops. The input gathered will be used to enrich and consolidate the plan before its finalization.
This important step highlighted the need to build a shared framework with territorial actors to anticipate and collectively adapt to the transformations of the Mercantour.
Thanks were extended to the staff involved in preparing and running the event, as well as to all participants for the valuable exchanges.
