The Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis is launching a public consultation on its 2026-2032 Territorial Climate Air Energy Plan project, open from November 1st to 30th, 2026.

In the face of the climate emergency, the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis invites citizens to participate in the public consultation for its new Territorial Climate Air Energy Plan (PCAET). This project, covering the period 2026-2032, follows previous plans and aims to strengthen the territory's action in ecological transition.
The PCAET is an essential strategic document that sets precise objectives for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and atmospheric pollutants, lowering energy consumption, developing renewable energies, preserving resources, improving quality of life and public health, and protecting biodiversity. It is based on a territorial diagnosis and defines an action program to mitigate the effects of climate change while enhancing the territory's capacity to adapt to its consequences.
Following a study phase and a prior consultation held in March and June 2025, the project was approved by the Metropolitan Council on June 22nd, 2026. It is now submitted for public consultation, in accordance with environmental legislation, before its final adoption.
The dossier will be available to the public from November 1st to 30th, 2026. Observations can be submitted via an electronic form opening on November 1st, 2026, or via a paper form for physical consultations. Requests for paper version consultations should be sent by email to plan.climat@nicecotedazur.org.
After the consultation, an analysis of the collected observations will be published on the Metropolis's website. This report will be associated with the final version of the Climate Plan submitted for approval by the Metropolitan Council. Citizen participation is considered essential for building a more resilient and sustainable territory.
