The Place de la République is illuminated in pink with an original installation of suspended umbrellas, symbolizing support for those affected by the disease and their loved ones.
Pink October pins are available for purchase at €2, with proceeds going to the association SOS Cancer du Sein. These items can be found at several locations in the town: the Municipal Library, the Levens Town Hall, Tabac La Fontaine, Boulangerie Alexis, Épicerie « Haut de Levens », the Pharmacy of Levens, the Pharmacy of Plan du Var, and the Vie et Forme club.
The Levens Festival Committee is also participating in this cause by organizing various events throughout the month of October.
The municipality calls on residents, associations, businesses, and partners to join this mobilization to bring Pink October to life in Levens, by wearing pink and raising awareness among their circles.
