The City of Mougins is launching a call for applications for its new Council of Elders, a consultative body for residents aged 65 and over wishing to get involved in improving the quality of life for seniors.

The City of Mougins invites residents aged 65 and over, who wish to actively contribute to improving the quality of life for seniors, to join the brand new Council of Elders. This consultative and participatory body aims to draw on the experience, knowledge, and expectations of seniors to develop concrete projects.
Composed of 4 municipal elected officials and 16 volunteer seniors for a renewable one-year term, the Council will focus on four main themes: activities and leisure, combating isolation, disability, and intergenerational exchange. Members will meet in plenary assembly to define orientations and in thematic commissions to work on specific issues.
To apply, candidates must be 65 years of age or older and be motivated and available. The establishment of this first body is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
Interested individuals can download and complete the application form available online and return it to the Pôle Famille (Family Department) by December 15, 2026, either by email to sdraperi@villedemougins.com or in person at 38 avenue de Tournamy.
