The City of Nice, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will establish an exceptional aid fund for the security of businesses affected by demonstrations.

This initiative, to be adopted by the Municipal Council on November 19, will cover 50% of the expenses incurred by businesses, up to a maximum of €5,000 per business. Eligibility will be based on the sectors affected by the demonstrations.
A support unit for affected businesses is also being set up. It will provide assistance in four areas: psychological, with reception at the Maison d’Accueil des Victimes de Nice; financial, with the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur contributing to the economic support fund of the CCI; legal, offering free information on rights from the association Montjoye and the Bar Association; and administrative, with guidance from the Mission Commerce to facilitate reopening.
The unit commits to responding within 48 hours to administrative requests within its scope, such as replacing shop windows, access to establishments, temporary signage, and deliveries. Each affected business will have a dedicated contact person for assistance with tax and insurance procedures within 7 days.
