For Pink October, the CCAS of the Town of Peymeinade, in partnership with numerous stakeholders and health professionals, is organizing a morning dedicated to breast cancer prevention and awareness. The event will take place on Monday, October 12th, from 8 AM to 12:30 PM, at the Peymeinade weekly market, located at Saint-Marc parking, avenue de Boutiny.
Throughout the morning, several partners will be present at their stands to inform, raise awareness, exchange, and answer the public's questions regarding breast cancer prevention and screening. The CCAS of Peymeinade will welcome visitors at the market entrance, alongside the Grasse Hospital Center, offering coffee, fruit juices, and treats, while directing them to the various speakers.
This mobilization will involve numerous organizations, including the CCAS of Peymeinade, the Grasse Hospital Center, Premières de Cordée Méditerranée, Toujours Femme Pays de Grasse, La Ligue contre le cancer, Une Rose, Une Caresse, and Solidarité Couturières Pays de Fayence.
The morning will also feature a Zumba session offered by the association Fitmag. Additionally, students from the Fragonard Mirabeau school will participate in this mobilization by organizing a run.
The objective is to emphasize that prevention and screening can save lives. Organizers invite the public to come and get informed, exchange, and share this moment of awareness and solidarity.
