The Maison de la Parentalité in Saint-André-de-la-Roche opened its doors on Saturday, October 3rd for the Family Day, a day dedicated to sharing, discovery, and conviviality. Young and old participated in a program rich in activities, ranging from family yoga to creative workshops, as well as sports courses and storytelling sessions.
Families enjoyed numerous moments of sharing, including music, dances, workshops on nutrition, and discussions on topics such as emotions, sleep, and separation, as part of the 'Parents toolbox' sessions.
Beyond the workshops, the event aimed to provide quality time together, whether for playing, discovering new activities, meeting other parents, or interacting with the professionals present. A shared meal also brought participants together around a convivial buffet.
The afternoon featured activities adapted to different age groups, such as musical awakening for the youngest, family sophrology, creative workshops, an 'take my place' workshop raising awareness about accepting differences, and a crepe-making workshop, further extending exchanges in a family atmosphere.
This festive day also served to showcase the Maison de la Parentalité, located at place Jules Musso, a resource center open year-round for parents and their children aged 0 to 18. It offers opportunities to meet professionals, participate in activities, exchange ideas, or discover available resources.
The Family Day thus created a collective, warm, and joyful interlude, reminding everyone that the Maison de la Parentalité is a vibrant place and a constant support for families. This event marks the beginning of the Parenting Month, with more meetings and workshops planned.
