The Town Hall of Saint-Jeannet, in collaboration with local associations, is organizing a commemorative ceremony on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at the War Memorial to mark the 1918 Armistice.

On the occasion of the National Day of Commemoration of Victory and Peace of November 11, 1918, Julie Charles, Mayor of Saint-Jeannet, the Municipal Council, the Saint-Jeannet Association of War Veterans (A.S.J.A.C.), and the Le Souvenir Français Association invite the public to the ceremony to be held at the War Memorial, Place des Victoires, on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.
The program will begin at 10:45 AM with a gathering in front of the Town Hall, followed by the commemorative ceremony at the War Memorial at 11:00 AM. A wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the Cercle at 11:30 AM.
From 11:45 AM, an exhibition titled "Portraits of Poilus from Saint-Jeannet Families," organized by Le Souvenir Français, will be presented. This event will pay tribute to the soldiers from the village families and revive the local memory of the Great War. The municipality will then offer a friendly reception at the Salle Saint Jean-Baptiste.
The municipality warmly invites citizens, young and old, to join this moment of remembrance and transmission of memory.
