On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Saint-Jeannet joins the 18th edition of the Night of the Night, an initiative aimed at raising awareness about nocturnal biodiversity and rediscovering the village under a starry sky.

From 7 PM to 5 AM, the public lighting in the municipality will be turned off, with the exception of parking lots equipped with cameras. This measure aims to reduce light pollution and allow residents to observe the night sky.
The evening will begin at 7:30 PM with a public conference led by the SPICA – Astronomy Club of Villeneuve-Loubet, held at the Salle Saint-Jean-Baptiste. This event will shed light on the theme of the night and biodiversity.
At 8:30 PM, an aperitif will be offered by the municipality in the Place de l’église, followed at 9 PM by a nocturnal procession through the village streets. This procession will be guided by members of the association OK chorale.
The highlight of the evening will be stargazing starting at 9:30 PM. Participants can admire the sky through telescopes, accompanied by SPICA animators. Herbal teas and treats will be offered by the association Jardins et Ruchers des Baous.
This initiative is a wonderful opportunity to look up at the sky, enjoy the night, and rediscover Saint-Jeannet in a different light.
