The national #MoisSansTabac campaign returns in November 2026 for its 11th edition, offering residents of Aix-en-Provence a collective challenge to quit smoking for 30 days, with professional support and dedicated tools.

The #MoisSansTabac campaign, renewed for the 11th consecutive year in November 2026, invites everyone to take on the challenge of quitting cigarettes for 30 days. The 2025 edition saw 9,513 participants registered regionally. Completing this initial challenge multiplies by five the chances of quitting permanently, significantly reducing withdrawal symptoms.
To support participants, numerous aid systems are available: the dedicated space on Tabac info service (advice, strategies, testimonials), free telephone consultations at 39 89, the Tabac info service app for e-coaching, the smoking cessation kit, and the regional mutual aid Facebook group.
In Aix-en-Provence, the Centres de Soins d’Accompagnement et de Prévention en Addictologie (CSAPA) offer specialized help. Consultations are also available with primary care physicians and the pulmonology departments of the Centre Hospitalier d’Aix-en-Provence Pertuis and the Hôpital Privé de Provence.
Specific events are organized in the city: on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, a meeting with health professionals and associations will take place at Place Marius Bastard from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., including kit distribution, carbon monoxide tests, and discussions. Other awareness activities for young people and students are planned in colleges and on the university campus.
On Friday, November 6, and Thursday, November 26, the respiratory disease service team from the Centre Hospitalier Aix Pertuis will host an information and prevention stand in the main hall. The association Provence Santé Coordination also offers group and individual videoconference sessions for smoking cessation.
