Launched by the City of Aix-en-Provence, a new initiative aims to create links between local businesses and associations to support projects benefiting residents. Five initiatives have been selected.

The operation, announced on May 5th during the "Asso’ciez-vous !" evening dedicated to corporate patronage, aims to foster the engagement of Aix-en-Provence businesses with associations operating in the area. Following a call for applications, a jury selected five projects.
These projects cover child protection, inclusion and disability, solidarity, culture and education, and sustainable development. Project files, available in PDF, detail their objectives and needs, allowing companies to identify a project to support. Examples include "Enfant Bleu", "Phénix", "JP Coste", "Empaix", and "École Comestible".
The next step is the "Soirée de l'engagement" (Evening of Engagement) on December 8th. The five associations will present their initiatives to businesses, who can then discuss their potential contributions, which can include financial donations, material gifts, or skills-based sponsorship.
The City encourages all Aix-en-Provence businesses, regardless of size or sector, to partner with these projects dedicated to the local territory.
To participate in the December 8th event or learn more about support opportunities, interested parties can contact the City's Associations and Volunteering service by phone at 04 42 91 90 96 or by email at sra@mairie-aixenprovence.fr.
