The City of Allauch has set a new record during its fourth olive collection operation, harvesting nearly 8,300 kilograms of olives for local natural oil production, a significant increase from the previous year.

The olive collection operation, organized by the City of Allauch in partnership with the Moulin de Florette, concluded this Sunday, November 1st, marking an unprecedented success. Nearly 8,300 kilograms of olives were harvested in just three half-days, far exceeding last year's 5,200 kilograms.
This enthusiasm highlights the growing interest in the initiative, with its fourth edition already seeing over 5,500 kg collected during the first two sessions on October 18th and 25th. The event showcases Allauch's know-how and the transmission of olive-growing culture, from harvesting to processing into 100% natural oil and other local products.
The City congratulates all participants for their involvement and for contributing their own harvest for fully natural production.
The Moulin de Florette, a partner in this effort to preserve and perpetuate the tradition of olive trees in the Provençal terroir, is located in Château Gombert, in the 13th arrondissement of Marseille.
