In Allauch, the mayor and the municipal councillors for youth officially presented sashes to the new young municipal councillors, marking the start of their 2026-2027 term.

The first session for the new Young Municipal Council (CMJ) provided an opportunity for the mayor to highlight projects undertaken in recent years. These include the market garden farm which will supply school canteens via short circuits from early 2027, and the creation of the skate park in Plan-de-Cuques, partially funded by the CD13 and now available to young people in the Canton Vert.
Twelve primary school students and seven from Collège Yves-Montand, five of whom are re-elected, will discuss various themes throughout the year, such as intergenerational projects, transportation, school canteen meals, environmental issues, soft mobility, road safety, animal welfare, and social actions, particularly in conjunction with the CCAS.
New this year, two high school students, Laura Saccoccio and Eliott Mans, have been elected as honorary members of the CMJ. They will be supported in their mandate by another honorary member, Manon Aros.
The official sash presentation ceremony allowed the CMJ to conduct a constructive initial discussion regarding work areas to be addressed during the year. The young elected CMJ members will regularly attend commemorations, ceremonies, and traditional and/or intergenerational events that animate the commune.
