Residents were able to voice their opinions on various daily life aspects, including the creation of green spaces, improvement of pedestrian paths near schools, installation of playgrounds, and discussions about the role of automobiles around the Place des Troubadours.
Mandy Graillon, Vice-President for Urban Policy, emphasized the importance of their participation: "We truly need you to help us decide on future developments because you are the ones who live in the neighborhood daily." She specifically asked residents about retaining car parking and managing vehicles in the Place des Troubadours area.
Accompanied by the consulting firm Base, SPL Agate, and ACCM's technical teams, participants then worked in small groups on plans and models to share their expectations.
This participatory process will continue with two workshops on the neighborhood's entrance development, followed by a public restitution meeting scheduled for November 30th at 6 PM at the Henri Wallon school.
