The Mayor of Carnoux-en-Provence, Nicolas Bouland, and the President of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jean-Luc Chauvin, signed a Municipal Support Contract (CAM) on October 21st for the period 2026-2029.
This agreement aims to support the municipality in its strategic planning, stimulate local economic life, and facilitate the implementation of projects contributing to its attractiveness and dynamism. The accord will be structured around three pillars: global advice and support, local economic life animation, and project development and engineering.
The first pillar will enhance exchanges between the City and CCIAMP to provide elected officials with a deeper understanding of the local economic context and territorial challenges. Through data sharing and expertise, the municipality will have decision-making support for its projects, boosting its appeal and anchoring its development.
The support will also identify and develop focus areas for commercial urban planning, business zone development, and decarbonization. CCIAMP will also inform local businesses, officials, and elected representatives about available support schemes and calls for projects.
CCIAMP will lend its expertise to revitalize the town center, the communal market, and other economic hubs, promote local economic activity, and support businesses (acquisitions, sales, calls for projects, support programs, economic watch). The City can also request economic and commercial attractiveness studies, seek grants and partnerships, and arrange financing.

Finally, CCIAMP's recognized expertise will allow us to be supported in the planning and projection of structuring projects for the local industrial fabric and employment policy in the communal territory."
