From Monday to Sunday, seniors in Carry-le-Rouet actively participated in various activities organized by the City Council, the CCAS (Social Action Center), and partner associations. This edition, focused on sharing, conviviality, and social connection, saw the participation of the Mayor and the deputy mayor for CCAS, Chantal Guionnet.
Several workshops were held to keep seniors active. A road safety workshop, in partnership with the Prévention Routière association, reviewed safe driving practices. The Tea Time workshop, led by Élodie, provided an opportunity to practice English in a relaxed and warm atmosphere.
Festive moments also marked the week, particularly at the municipal restaurant-club, which hosted themed meals. The Mayor shared one of these meals with participants on Wednesday. A cinema screening offered by the City at the Cinéma Espace Fernandel was fully booked, followed by the distribution of gourmet baskets containing local products.
Partner associations, such as L’Âge d’Or, Entraide Solidarité 13 (ES13), and the Groupe Amical, contributed to the friendly atmosphere by organizing bingo games.
The City Council thanked all participants, partner associations, speakers, and the mobilized teams, as well as the Cinéma Espace Fernandel and Robert Barnakian for their welcome.
