The municipality of Fuveau is launching a registry for victims following damage caused by the summer 2026 drought. Residents are invited to report cracks appearing on their homes before December 4th.

Has your home suffered damage related to the summer 2026 drought? The Municipality has received several letters from residents reporting cracks that have appeared on their homes. The coverage of expertise and repairs by insurers is conditional on the prior publication of an inter-ministerial decree recognizing a state of natural disaster.
To be recognized as a natural disaster, the Municipality must submit a formal request to the Minister of the Interior. Therefore, if your home has recently suffered damage due to the summer 2026 drought, we invite you to inform the Town Hall.
To do so, please send a letter before 04/12/26 detailing your situation and requesting recognition of the natural disaster status, including photographs and the date the cracks were first observed. You can send your file by email to kgomez@mairie-fuveau.com or by mail to the following address: Mairie de Fuveau, Attention: Karine Gomez, 26 Boulevard Emile Loubet, 13710 Fuveau.
