The ACCM agglomeration community continues its investments in economic attractiveness and energy transition. A major relamping program is underway in several business parks across the territory. The goal is to replace old light fixtures with more efficient and energy-saving LED equipment.
This operation specifically concerns the Bois de Leuze zone in Saint-Martin-de-Crau, the Nord industrial zone in Arles, the Roubian industrial zone in Tarascon, and the Gay-Lussac parking lot at the Écopôle. Over 170 light points will be renewed along several key routes in these economic areas.
Beyond improving lighting quality, this program addresses a major objective of energy sobriety. Replacing current lamps with LED luminaires will reduce annual electricity consumption from nearly 117,000 kWh to approximately 39,400 kWh, an estimated energy saving of over 66 %.
This initiative is part of a comprehensive strategy for modernizing economic activity zones led by ACCM. Following this phase focused on public lighting, other interventions to improve infrastructure in these sectors, particularly roadways, will be launched soon to provide businesses and their employees with an increasingly functional and attractive working environment.
Aware of the challenges related to the activity of companies located in these zones, ACCM has organized the work to minimize disruptions. The intervention schedule has been developed to ensure the continuity of operations in the economic zones and reduce constraints for users and professionals.
The work will take place between October and November 2026 at the various sites, as part of an investment program that combines ecological transition, energy performance, and sustainable improvement of public facilities for the economic development of the territory.
