The Bouches-du-Rhône Chamber of Agriculture hosted the award ceremony for the third edition of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Métropole Agricultural Award on September 28. This event aims to highlight the products and expertise of local producers, celebrating the richness of the metropolitan agricultural and food heritage. For the 2026 edition, eleven specialties were recognized.
The winners were determined after a blind tasting organized on May 27. Approximately 50 jury members, including chefs, journalists, influencers, elected officials, and municipal representatives committed to agriculture, evaluated the competing products.
This year's laureates are:
- Rosé Wine AOP – Domaine des Diables (Puyloubier): Cuvée Rose Bonbon
- Red Wine AOP – Domaine de la Brillane (Aix-en-Provence): Cuvée la Traversée
- White Wine IGP – Domaine du Mas Bleu (Gignac-la-Nerthe): Cuvée SG
- Green Fruity Olive Oil AOP – Domaine Jòlibois (Eyguières): Organic Green Fruity Olive Oil
- Black Fruity Olive Oil AOP – Moulin des Costes (Pélissanne): Matured Olive Oil
- Provence Honey IGP – Les Ruches du Roy (Simiane-Collongue): Garrigue Honey
- Camargue Oysters – Paul Scotti (Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône): Paul et Caroline Special Oysters
- Blonde Beer – Brasserie de Sulauze (Miramas): Panpan Culcul Blonde Beer

Beyond recognition, the Agricultural Award aims to increase the visibility of producers and their expertise, an aspect supported by the Métropole's communication efforts. This initiative is part of a broader strategy through its Territorial Food Project, which seeks to support farmers, promote local food, and enhance the region's productions.
