The BTP Sector Weeks concluded on October 2, 2026, with a job fair at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Pays d'Arles. This event, the result of a joint effort by the ACCM agglomeration community and the Employment Network of the Pays d'Arles, aimed to connect local job seekers with recruiters and training opportunities in the strategic construction and public works sector.
For two weeks, from September 21 to October 2, 2026, various partners including France Travail, the Departmental Council of Bouches-du-Rhône, and the Mission Locale du Delta worked to promote BTP professions. The forum allowed about a hundred candidates to directly meet with eighteen companies from the sector, who presented their recruitment needs.
Beyond immediate job offers, the forum highlighted available training pathways. Specialized organizations presented courses, certifications, and skills sought by employers. The Skills Operator (OPCO), present alongside the Building Federation, provided expertise on training schemes, apprenticeships, and available funding, emphasizing the importance of qualifications in this evolving sector.
ACCM agents responsible for insertion clauses also presented their role in supporting recruitment linked to public contracts and major territorial projects. These development operations are thus presented as levers for professional integration and local employment.
This collective initiative, driven by the Employment Network, illustrates the commitment to creating lasting bridges between job seekers and companies in the Pays d'Arles. The goal is to meet the skills needs of local businesses while guiding residents towards promising careers.
