The day, marked by round tables, meetings, and discovery workshops, addressed crucial themes such as stereotypes related to disability, access to higher education, the role of young caregivers, and inclusive housing. These topics directly impact the daily lives of those concerned and their loved ones.
Personalities including actor Sofiane Ribes and comedian Roro le costaud lent their support, helping to raise the profile of inclusion issues and emphasizing the importance of changing perspectives. The event's patron, dancer Marie-Claude Pietragalla, also voiced her support for initiatives promoting access to culture for all.
The Inclusion Village offered visitors the chance to meet associations, learn about existing support systems, and participate in adapted activities. The Department highlighted its actions, such as promoting adaptive sports with 204 certified clubs and offering 76 adapted activities in 28 middle schools for the 2026/2027 school year.
“"People with disabilities should not have to adapt to society; society must adapt to them"
“"Inclusion should not be an unattainable ideal or a mere stated principle. It must be a concrete reality, visible and experienced every day in all areas of life"
