Faced with the rapid rise of generative artificial intelligence, Sciences Po Aix has developed a Charter aimed at guiding its responsible and ethical use within the institution.

Aware of the rapid transformations brought about by generative AI tools, Sciences Po Aix positions itself as a responsible actor committed to maintaining its level of excellence. The impacts of AI use on teaching and future professional practices necessitate in-depth collective reflection. AI has become a pervasive reality transforming our professional daily lives, student work, and pedagogical practices.
To address this evolution, a University Citizen Convention on generative AI was launched from March 6 to May 12, 2025. This initiative brought together teachers, students, and administrative staff in a space for exchange and debate. At the end of its work, the Convention submitted proposals to the institution's Directorate for training and teaching in the age of AI.
This collective work has led to the development of a Charter on the use of generative artificial intelligence. It proposes a shared framework based on trust, responsibility, and ethics, formulating recommendations for a measured, reflective, and critical use of generative AI. The aim is to preserve optimal learning conditions and a trusting relationship within the pedagogical community.
